Blue Belt

 Signifies the heaven towards which the plant matures into a towering tree as the training in Taekwon-do progresses.

 

Exercise: 20 Star jumps. 20 Sit ups. 20 Press ups. 20 Squat thrusts. 20 Rising kicks [mid high], 20 Burpees. 20 Tuck jmps.

Stance: All stances including Moa Junbi Sogi B, Dwit Bal Sogi.

Blocks:  All blocks learnt so far plus Sonbadak Olly Makgi [Palm upward block], Wi Palkup[Upper elbow] Noolyo Anoollyo Makgi [Palm pressing block], Digutja Makgi [U shape block].

Punches: All hand techniques learnt so far plus Sang Sewo [Twin vertical], Sang Dwijibo [Twin upset]. Kyocha Joomuk Chookyo Makgi [Cross fist,rising block].

Kicks: All kicks learnt so far including flying side kick [Twimyo yop chagi].

Board Breaking: 1 Board, 1 kick technique and 1 hand technique.

Alternative: Self-defence techniques using takedowns and sweeps.

Pattern: Won-Hyo.

Pattern: Yul Gok.

2 step Sparring: All techniques.

Free sparring: All techniques.
